PPW42
WHAT IS IT?
PPW42 is a non-stimulant pre-workout, or a pre-workout additive - the choice is yours, but what it does best is sustainably increasing circulating nitric oxide levels while increasing plasma volume.
WHY WOULD I TAKE IT?
To increase overall blood flow during during workouts to maximize pumps, to increase oxygenation for endurance sports, or to simply accelerate nutrient delivery to hard-working muscles.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
PPW42 ultimately works by increasing nitric oxide (NO) levels. The body usually accomplishes this from the amino acid Arginine, however, Arginine isn’t absorbed very well...at least not as well as its downstream metabolite and precursor, Citrulline. Even though Arginine is what most cells use to produce NO, Arginine can be formed from Citrulline AND Arginine breaks down into Citrulline, which is why Citrulline is also a pretty viable component for increasing nitric oxide levels. PPW42 also utilizes Agmatine Sulfate to assist in this effort, but probably more compelling is the ingredient Glycerol (as GlycerPumpTM). Glycerol in many cases can increase blood viscosity, but is also a well known agent in the realm of “hyperhydration” for endurance athletes. This aspect combined with the electrolyte blend found in PPW42 can facilitate optimal hydration levels without cramping or possible electrolyte imbalance.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE?
We recommend 1 scoop of PPW42 dissolved into 250-500mL of water, however for those of you seeking exceptional pumps during your workout to dissolve two scoops into 250-500mL of water 45-60 minutes pre-workout. Due to the versatile, non-stimulatory nature of PPW42, it may be taken in conjunction with your favorite pre-workout or amino acid product.
